Used this as a replacement in my 2001 Olds Intrigue. My car stopped when the turn signals came on. Common GM issue. In any case, getting started is not difficult, there is a video on YouTube showing how to do it and what safety precautions have to be observed. Accessing the switch is mostly intuitive, but there are minor things to be aware of when removing it, as things can only fall apart under certain circumstances. My only advice is make sure you remove the bottle before disconnecting the bottle harness. I was in a hurry and broke part of my lock cylinder. Long story short, GM vehicles need this a lot (it's been killing people and a GM recall is bullshit), watch the video on how to remove the shifter. Everything is easy back.
