I'm having a problem with low wifi bandwidth in the back corner of my house. After reading the rave reviews, I purchased this product. The adapter I placed next to the router refused to connect to the adapter in the other room. I got two closer just to try and it still didn't work. When they were finally placed in two outlets on the same circuit, only a few feet apart, they connected - very unreliably, turning on and off randomly. And even there, the "Home" indicator, which is supposed to show connection speed, sometimes showed green (excellent) and sometimes nothing (no connection at all). It never turned orange or red to indicate a slowdown. As the instructions say, I downloaded the user manual to find out how to troubleshoot. After trawling through dozens of incredibly difficult sites to understand, I found that I needed to install their application on my phone or computer. I chose a computer. The installation process was the most cumbersome I've ever seen. Finally, after installation, it took multiple attempts to run the program, which displayed garbled graphics and refused to accept keystrokes, and then crashed my computer. This half-baked product is back, but I want someone to make up for my lost time. Stay away.
