Have put in more than ten years of work. I took it apart piece by piece, wiped it out with rubbing alcohol, oiled the moving parts with wd-40, and reassembled it. Allows for cleaning without having to be removed from the wall. If you pull the impeller toward you, it will come off the rod, and then you will have access to clean everything. The parsing to the rotor, which is mentioned farther down in the reviews, is not particularly challenging. There is a note about Italy printed on the motor. I recommend to all. The items that are used come from a variety of sources and were purchased at various dates. The grease on the bearings is removed by WD-40, and the bearings begin to make a quiet ringing sound. Do not use.
