Finally solved my hot start problem. Went like clockwork. The car started cold without any problems and after I drove off and sat down, it started for a long time after half an hour. Starts soon.

This helped fix the heat issue I was having with my carburetor and it was just high enough that I was still able to fit the original OEM air filter housing and none had problems with the distance

My 86 C10 with Edelbrock 2101 Performer intake and 1406 carburettor was boiling with fuel and causing violent hot starts. I put this gasket in between and now starts/starts/works fine!

The product lived up to expectations so I gave it 5 stars. The price is not bad but I think it could be cheaper especially compared to other products. However, I have no complaints and it makes a difference in heat dissipation.

Fits perfectly on my Edelbrock intake manifold and 4-barrel Holley carburetor on my Ford 351c. Easy to get under the hood with no problems. This should allow me to work in Texas all summer with no warm up issues.

Fits my air intake, dueling plane. I had no trouble installing it and took it on a 20 minute drive on a hot day. Once I stopped, went to the store and started it, there was no more leakage. That made me very happy, because I wanted to solve this problem for a long time. Thank you Edelbrock.

product not installed but hope it solves my hot start/cup vent problems. I'm not sure if this will happen because now I have a carbon fiber gasket that said it would fix my problems but it didn't and someone told me to use wood so here I am. I hesitated because of the heat index here in North Carolina

There were problems with street traction running with an Edelbrock 2101 Performer intake and a 1405 Performer carburetor. After running up to full temperature, the engine ran very roughly at idle or stalled. Carburettor very hot, fuel bubbles in various places. The large 14-inch Edelbrock air filter was too hot to handle. Went online, saw some examples of the same problem, called Edelbrock, they recommended insulator/spacer #8725.
