We hang out near my house, we have a -20C TV, ice and snow everywhere, 4K 60fps signal, and people keep forgetting where I got that from have cable. I always tell them no. Inevitable, they ask, and I point to the cable lying right there in sight. No booster adapter required. I have two of these, I gifted one to my in-laws when Comcast screwed them up and they've been happy ever since. My parents don't even have the channels that we have. And we have (barely, but we have) several Canadian canals across Lake Erie. Which is pretty damn impressive for a porch setup. I recommend them everywhere!
