Swapped my flimsy 19" wheels to complete my ride with 18" and 21" wheels and grips on my 2018 72v Sur Ron at 65 miles at one o'clock smooth. Before mounting the tires (and attaching the rim to the rear wheel), I cut the black gorilla tape wide enough to cover the spoke nipples (but not too wide to get under the tire bead) and then wrap each wheel in place three times. 3 weekends ago everything was sealed well enough to ride all day. After a few months of riding the gasket bleeding and loss of pressure stopped. I use 12-16psi pressure with no problems. Well worth the extra time and effort to reliably eliminate the weight of the pipe and broken pipe rods.
