So, I saw a few comments about adhesion, so I tried cleaning the glass with alcohol and not straining (checking) the unit until the next day. I'm at 50%, 1 stayed in place, the other fell apart on the unit, some of the tape on the glass stayed in place. I wanted these devices to please, they are simple, small and don't stand out like some other devices because they are understandable. The remaining device appears to be very secure and does its job well. The price of these devices, I think, is high, since they are extremely simple, and given that the glue is very problematic. Some company reviews include 1 extra adhesive strip with instructions on how to remove the old one for each device. Saying they ship from the factory this way is like saying my product doesn't work, buy another. 2020 boys include 2 extra pieces and call it good. The overall design of the product is good. The introduction and use of the device is what it lacks. UPDATE: Gorilla Glue makes clear double-sided tape that works! You need Goo to get off the old one, but that's better than throwing it away when the glue fails like many have said.
