Easy installation, perfect fit! Excellent technical support! Non-foreign technical support, BEAUTIFUL!

We have replaced the clear plastic block with this white and hard block of material - you cannot see through it. We have a terrible sight of the water in the well, in just a few days the clean water has turned reddish brown from the rust. We have several filter systems as well as a de-ironing system and a conventional water softener. We replaced the clear block with this and all we had to do was just unscrew the connection fittings, the old threaded adapters fit the new unit, we didn't have to change any fittings - anyone who has had to repeat the installation for a replacement knows what It's a pain that can maybe turn a 10 minute job into a half day project! It literally took 10 minutes. We bought a different brand filter which was a bit tricky to install, we called customer service, got a very knowledgeable AMERICAN, gave us good advice - there was a little dripping from the cap seal. Finally managed to sit down. Both my husband and the technician thought maybe another branded filter is too long? So I had to pull up more. It eventually stopped leaking (it was a very small drip every 30 seconds or so). So the only caveat is that you might order SIE filters to make sure they fit. We ordered a different brand because it is a hard spun material that says it filters down to 1 micron and fills from the inside of the filter to the outside. obviously it was a bit longer. EcoPure seems to only have pleated and thread filters, in our experience they don't work that well with our REALLY BAD well water. We have what they call "chili sand" that sometimes comes out of our well. The well probably needs to be redrilled, but that's another $1,500 I don't want to spend! I hope this will solve our aesthetic problems. Sounds bad I guess trying to hide the fact that our water is ugly? Ohio, what more can I say.
