I had low expectations for this budget kit but even those weren't met at the end of the day. I wanted to add an inexpensive keyless security system to a car I'm building. Everything worked for me on the test bench. Security keys, circuits, etc., but as soon as I tried to place the receiver anywhere near the car, it stopped working. The car I'm building uses an all-aluminum interior. all panels. Floor, tunnel, dashboard, etc., if the receiver was within 1 inch of any of these plates, it stopped working. There is a warning in the manual that it should be kept away from all metals. You mean business.
