I like this RAM. A little problem

I love it! It might sound silly, but after buying a glass-walled case where I see the inside of my PC every day, it's great to have something interesting to look at. I'm not a fan of PCs that look like unicorns. Throw in blinding RGB lights everywhere, but there's a slight touch of light on my motherboard and this RAM highlights it well. They sync and create a really beautiful look. It's quite fascinating to watch. My only fault: my motherboard is an ASUS motherboard and I updated it to the latest version. While the firmware can manage my RAM and change backlight colors and other settings, it doesn't have full control over the RAM backlight. By that I mean that this RAM is always on whenever my computer is on and there is absolutely no way to turn it off. Which is frustrating. If my computer goes to sleep or I want to turn off the lights, I can set this up in the control panel, on the motherboard, on my graphics card - turn everything off, but that RAM stays on and only turns off when I turn off the computer completely, which I don't normally do. That annoys me a lot. Obviously I love RAM, but there are times when you want to turn it off. How long does the RGB effect last? I want to be able to turn it off and help keep it running. G.SKILL are aware of this issue (there are some threads on their own forums), but they don't seem to care, which is frustrating. Apart from this annoyance, everything works great. The RAM is chunky and solid, installed in flash, and 32GB is crazy over 8GB. I can open Photoshop so quickly and navigate through documents without the slightest hesitation. My previous build had G.SKILL RAM so I kept it for my new one and I wasn't disappointed!
