Review on πŸ’ͺ Unlocked Samsung Galaxy J7 (16GB) J737A - 5.5" HD Display, Octa-core Processor, Android 8.0, 4G LTE, AT&T Compatible (Black) by Keisuke Uemura ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

In principle, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2022) can be considered an almost perfect top budget phone. If it had installed the proprietary TIZEN OS, which is much more productive and economical (compared to the swollen and rather "leaky" Android), then in general it would be an ideal option. But alas, Samsung still does not sell smartphones on TIZEN in 2022 .

Pros
  • Everything that an average user needs is available in the device and even more: a solid Super AMOLED display, a decent amount of RAM (3GB), support for the best mobile payment service Samsung Pay (works even with old terminals for magnetic stripe cards), the "always on the screen "(Always on Display) with the display of basic information about the time, weather and incoming calls / SMS, support for 2 SIM-cards + MicroSD memory cards up to 256GB. The cameras deserve special praise. Yes, there is no optical stabilization as in the flagships, but for such a price, the A-brand cannot be otherwise. But the photo / video quality from both cameras is excellent for the J-series, especially if you use a portable steadicam. As of the day of writing this post, the manufacturer continues to support the software side and an ate to Android 8.0 Oreo is expected in the coming months. The accumulator of decent capacity guaranteeing work till 2 days at moderate operation. In other words, it’s almost a premium device at the price of a top state employee.
Cons
  • There were no shortcomings in the work. The only negative is the not so large amount of internal memory (16GB), which is not enough by today's standards. But the presence of a slot for an additional memory card removes the problem.

I bought Redmi 5 to replace the Chinese and did not regret it at all, all the same, Samsung is an A brand, better support and adaptive software.
