I have an MX410de and have had no problems with a non-OEM Do It Wiser toner cartridge. I've had the cartridge for 13 1/2 months and had to update the firmware to fix the printer problem. After the update, the Lexmark firmware no longer recognizes a Do It Wiser compatible toner. The cartridge lasts for 200-300 pages. I emailed Do It Wiser support and they told me to downgrade the firmware (it's not possible). I was also told that the 12 month warranty had expired. Well, I'll have to buy another toner, but I can't recommend buying Make It Wise as a reasonable option for myself, my clients, or potential buyers.
