Very, very similar to the original part except for a slight difference in the texture of the plastic panel behind the grip. Very low. However, the basic handle design is flawed in both the original OEM and this replacement. The tang fits into two holes in the plastic "chassis". Unfortunately, the plastic is flimsy, which is why these pens are notorious for failure. The replacement part is true to the original in this respect. It has a metal handle which some other stock parts don't seem to have.
