Review on MICHELIN X-Ice Snow 215/60 R16 99H winter by Barbara Turczyk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not the best quality, but overall not bad.

Before that, there was a Bridgestone that was about 5 millimeters wider but I can't recall which model it was. Because the spikes on the old tires were flying out, we changed them up for some brand new 165/70 R14 MICHELIN X-Ice Snow. As soon as I drove on brand-new tires on a snowy road, I had the sudden realization that I had just wasted a lot of money on tires. The fact that the model is called the Snow despite having horrible brakes is the source of the model's comedic value. They do, by the way, slow down somewhat when traveling on ice.

Pros
  • Quiet
Cons
  • The cost is really steep. The performance of the brakes is terrible when driving on snow. In the midst of a snowstorm, the anti-lock braking system (ABS) is triggered, and the vehicle is then forced further into the snow, colliding with the bumper of the automobile that is already halting. In addition, the tires have been mounted on a NISSAN MICRA, which is not even close to being a car because it moves at the speed of a snail.
