Uneven cuts, difficult to clean, returned same day

Wrote a more detailed and thorough review but I got "lost" so here is the summary. 1. Rough/uneven cut. all veggies go crooked. Cutting Bc shoots are inclined, and the blade is lowered at an angle of 90 °. Uneven cuts because the pieces don't come out at the top and sometimes go back into the chamber where they're cut again in a weird way. The solution is to reach out and take out each piece that falls on each chop, but this is time consuming and defeats the purpose of not having your hand near the blade. If you let the plunger retract all the way to force them up, the veggies will fly all over the place. Difficult to clean, time consuming and frustrating. Even with the provided toothbrush and a vigorous tap wash, it wasn't easy to clean as it has many ridges, crevices and slants. Device for coloring carrots.3. Restricted Use. You can't use us to slice zucchini or eggplant because you are limited by blade and plunger size, so you can only get slice or fries.4. Unlabeled tabs. It takes a long time to figure out what mode the device is in, Julianna, Stick or Slice. The little tab that you have to twist counter-clockwise and clockwise doesn't have any labels on it, so you won't know until you pick up the entire device and see if the blades are on, or bend down and look up. I figured it out, but of course it's not convenient without a tag. I have attached pictures of the experiment. Compare Dash's sure cut, my old mandolin with a blunter image and hand cut. In general, hand cutting requires more attention, but it is not entirely smooth, the mandolin has smooth cuts, but because it is old and needs to be replaced with the required force, the stroke has random cuts on the slopes. My general tip is to just buy a newer, sharper standard mandolin that's multifunctional and use cutting gloves, or just live with it and get a knife. I wanted to do a thorough review as the reviews are all five stars and this may be the only item I have had to return on the same day. I give it two stars because of the sharpness of the blade and the safety feature. If you have a kid chef in the kitchen it's safe and if you have limited function or hand strength if you don't care about cuts this will work for you. I hope it helps! FYI, uneven cuts are not only aesthetic, they even allow for cooking
