I hate spilling oil and liquids when working on cars especially under the hood. I place these pads under the area I'm working on to catch drips and spills. When removing power steering fluid or brake fluid, I put a gasket under the reservoir to catch drips. After removing the hose or, for example, the thermostat housing, I place a gasket underneath to catch a small amount of coolant that spills out. Makes cleaning more professional. If I have a situation where there are small fasteners, I place a pad under the work area to catch the fastener if I drop it into the engine bay chasm. Latch catches more often than not. I place one or two in strategic places when I'm flushing the brakes or changing the oil so the oil doesn't spill on the garage floor. In case or more likely if I miss a bin and as such the Airmatrix pads work great. A good size for my use when it's bigger and the pads are too big and the smaller ones are less useful for my use.
