Through the "JBL Portable" application, you need to pair each time into a stereo pair after turning it on, it's a pity that the acoustics "does not remember" the previous connection state. It was written in the application that next time you can pair in "stereo" without an application, but in fact without "JBL Portatble" pairing occurs only in "mono" mode in any connection variations - I checked it with third-party applications for testing stereo channel by channel. In general, the "Partyboost" technology is rather damp for the stereo mode, it works confidently only in "mono" pairing, it is possible to "finish" the firmware later. The operating time is much less than stated by the manufacturer. Again, it is possible due to the use in a stereo pair. In nature, at full volume after 4 hours of listening - the "red" indicator starts blinking. Indoors - a full evening (6-8 hours) of active use at medium volume.
