Review on 💡 Seasonic S12III 650 SSR-650GB3 650W 80+ Bronze ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply with Smart & Silent Fan Control by Blake Giordano

Bought a Seasonic S12III 650 SSR-650GB. The power supply worked perfectly for about 24 hours, after which problems arose. I'm building this computer for a colleague and his skeptical wife. First they reported that the computer keeps freezing, which (at first) could be anything. The computer kept shutting down and eventually wouldn't turn back on. I replaced the PSU with a new one (not Seasonic from Revain) and bam everything worked fine. I removed the cover and found the transformer was cracked and leaking inside the unit. (See pic) I'm just glad this piece of junk didn't fry all the ingredients. Lesson learned, you can't trust Revain offers that seem too good to be true. Seasonic is supposed to downgrade the quality of the components in their cheaper power supplies, so I'd just stay away from it.
