In my opinion, the quality of these pans is second to none. They are thick and strong, yet light enough. The lids are made of high quality glass with a steam vent and fit perfectly. I would read and follow the care and use instructions. It says that the handles can get hot and should not be touched with bare hands. They're hollow and conduct heat very well, but if you're cooking for a long time, 30 minutes plus the handle right at the end where it connects to the pan can get very hot (so I don't touch that part and that's fine ). Last but not least I would say never use metal utensils on it (I know the magic coating, we all know it's a fairy tale). Just don't use metal and they will likely last you for years. I've followed the directions to exit the box and so far nothing has stuck to it (no eggs, no cheese, not even chocolate). Just rinse and wipe (DONE). Remember this is not metal and you should be very happy (I know I'm happy and my main set is "SCAL". After 5 years I had to replace the pans with these because I was wearing them out) .
