Not an original Gator grip and not made in the USA.
I've used my original Gator Grip for years and everyone who took mine away loved it. Even the one that didn't come back. So I needed a replacement. The description is wrong. The packaging says Made in China. In addition, the handle is shorter than the original. The pins or "grips" are nowhere near the same quality or quantity. It got stuck in the nut I was tightening and the bushing slipped off the handle and I had to wiggle it to get it loose. The original was so amazing - always did a clean job. This is not the same product at all. If you only need it every now and then you can probably live with it, but it really frustrates me.
