Update 12/2018: So I used the product for 6 months and we emptied the septic tank. The septic guy said he looked as good as he had in 3 years and everything was broken. He asked us what we use and was amazed at how tiny it is. Now he will recommend it to all customers. Thank you for a great product that is easy to use and really does what it promises! We actually have a huge septic tank, but we only use one dose and it gets the job done. When I got a report from my septic friend (before I launched this product) that nothing broke with my previous product, I read the reviews (lots of research and phone calls) and bought it. First I did shock therapy (which I also bought from Amazon) and then monthly. My septic friend recommends shock therapy after it's all drained so the enzymes are replaced and ready to break it all down. He says he may not have to clean the septic tank for four years from what he's seen, but he'll come and check it every year. This is a huge saving that more than pays for the product in terms of maintenance savings. I don't have much to say other than that it was easy to use.
