This exit pole is just perfect for our little-used fire exit at our church. A few notes: - The location of the hole in the door is probably different from most traditional handle locks. If you're going from a grip to this bar like I did, you might have trouble adjusting and closing the old hole. The kit I bought included an external lock cylinder and handle. This is an add-on and the instructions for installation are not integrated with the rest of the panic bar installation guide - all mounting screws are mounting screws. For a metal door with a wooden core I needed self-tapping screws. It would be nice to have both in a set to save you a trip to the hardware store after opening the box. However, the panel appears to be of good quality and works well.
