Easy installation and beautiful appearance

I received 2 of these poles and installed both, so far it works well. Installation was easy and the instructions were very helpful. looks good and strong, it's kind of strong traffic area, we'll see what happens later. now everything looks great.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Communication with seller

The ddogging button doesn't work that easily.

I just installed it, we can't do it ourselves. I used a lock key and it worked with difficulty, but now I can't re-engage it. The door handle is locked, but it doesn't actually lock the door. I had to put a trash can in front of it so it wouldn't explode at night. The key is a very cheap Allen key.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Good quality product from a good company

I ordered 2 anti-panic products as I was unsure of the quality. I am happy to report that I am very pleased with all aspects of this item. This is a quality product that is easy to install. I am very happy with this purchase and the company behind the product. I recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable, well-built panic bar. I plan to order 22 more today.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Doubtful

Key interchangeable parts and guides

I have bought over 12 of these units and they are well built and work well. The problem is that replacement parts are not available and it is very difficult to recode the units to match the building's master key system. I had a locksmith who broke 2 pieces because he couldn't assemble the handle properly and we lost 1 bearing in the handle. These bearings are not available, so you will have to buy a whole new system.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Only available in black

Instructions and supplied screws leave something to be desired. Instructions say to drill holes for 1/4 x 20 mounting screws or use self-tapping screws (not included). The screws that came with it weren't 1/4 x 20, they were 8mm! If I drilled holes and cut threads according to the instructions, it would be a mess! Luckily I checked everything first and then bought self-tapping screws

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Very good, small note on included mounting hardware

This exit pole is just perfect for our little-used fire exit at our church. A few notes: - The location of the hole in the door is probably different from most traditional handle locks. If you're going from a grip to this bar like I did, you might have trouble adjusting and closing the old hole. The kit I bought included an external lock cylinder and handle. This is an add-on and the instructions for installation are not integrated with the rest of the panic bar installation guide - all…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Nothing here
