Struggled with a cigarette lighter phone holder that never really worked. I already had a magnetic pad on the back of my phone, so I was intrigued when I saw that. The hardest part was finding a flat spot to place it on the dashboard. The top of the dash was too round to use and I was hesitant to mount it on the front for fear the weight of the phone might loosen it, but it works great! I have this on the front of my console but the radio and it stay on for life. I let it dry for 48 hours so it had a solid stick and held tight. The only thing that would make it perfect would be a way to lock the ball head in place so the phone doesn't sag when I hit a bump in the road.
