What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

Beautiful, although in my case it is under the ceiling and it is not visible. Good quality plastic. For such money, with 5ghz support, you can take it without hesitation. A very useful thing if you are not going to tinker with the settings. Plugged it into an outlet - and happiness. But if you are not using WPS (you don't have to), have a patch cord handy for initial setup.

Pros
  • Two-room apartment, ASUS RT-AC66U router. The original antennas were gnawed by cats. I bought three 5ghz for replacement in China. It didn't get any better. Through two concrete walls on a laptop 2 sticks out of 5. I hooked up the RE200 in the hallway, above the shield, and got 5 sticks for everything from phones and my wife's laptop to the terrible Android TV box H96 Pro, which is famous for its terrible Wi-Fi sensitivity. Of course, the price. 1800 for full coverage of the apartment is quite cheap. Saved from renting / buying a punch, so as not to put Ethernet everywhere.
Cons
  • I set up a patch cord via Ethernet (which was not included in the kit, although it should have been according to the instructions). Thank God I have patch cords. In theory, it connects without problems via WPS, but leaving WPS enabled means inviting guests to your place. WPS is, to put it mildly, insecure. The web interface is poor and constantly freezes. Somehow I stuck it to the router (2.4 and 5ghz), but if you go anywhere other than the installation wizard, the device thinks for several hours. Saves only hard reset, but the problem arises again. Bottom line: neither look at the settings, nor ate the firmware.
