Review on 🔧 Dorman 601-003 Steering Wheel Motion Sensor: Unparalleled Performance for Compatible Models by Freddy Hammonds

This item was ordered to repair the headlight and message on a Saab 9-7x Stabilitruck. Revane was great to deal with when it came to coming back. Dorman's gauge, on the other hand, was a total disappointment. I ordered the first one which worked for a week. The second lasted only a day before the "Service Stabilizer” message appeared along with the lightbulb. Luckily I was able to find a good OEM sensor on eBay for $80 including shipping. This was installed within two weeks and so far I haven't had any problems. I'm glad I didn't pay anyone else to do it, but I spent $70 on unnecessary diagnostics because I couldn't believe two aftermarket sensors could go bad. It wasn't very fun to change the same part three times either. Live and learn I guess. As a follow up, I've had an OEM sensor installed for over a year and haven't had any issues with the Stabilitruck. I'm not sure what's wrong with the Dorman part on my car, but it just didn't work. Remember I tried two of these before I was forced to buy an OEM part.
