The part didn't work properly so I had to buy a genuine GM sensor instead

On mine It didn't work in 2008 Trailblazer. I don't know if it was defective or incompatible, but it was worse than my old sensor. Turning the steering wheel all the way to the right immediately gave an error code. Then I bought an original GM sensor that works great. Also note that there is a sticker on the box stating that you may need to have your computer reprogrammed by the dealer. Apparently the Dorman part replaces 3 different GM parts so I suspect that may be why it is not as compatible

Came without a feather.

Shipping was fast as always but the sensor arrived without a spring pin. The spring pin should be intact until the sensor is connected, then it must be removed.

Don't waste your money on that crap

Dashboard light went out and the steering wheel was tightened but a few weeks later the light came on again and the steering wheel was dangling again. Do yourself a favor and buy this piece of real GM brand is junk

Intermittent issues

This sensor appears to be well built but I keep getting code c0455 (steering sensor) and "stability" after installation. Only bought this because I accidentally broke my original sensor when changing bearings so I bought this replacement part 601-003. Not impressed

Live and Learn for Salon

This item was ordered to repair the headlight and message on a Saab 9-7x Stabilitruck. Revane was great to deal with when it came to coming back. Dorman's gauge, on the other hand, was a total disappointment. I ordered the first one which worked for a week. The second lasted only a day before the "Service Stabilizerโ€ message appeared along with the lightbulb. Luckily I was able to find a good OEM sensor on eBay for $80 including shipping. This was installed within two weeks and so far I haven't
