Review on 🦒 Tobin Giraffe Girl Counted Cross Stitch Kit - 11 x 14 Size, Multi-Colored by Carol Miller

I post a review of the scheme. It comes in a set and, as you can tell from the color scheme, is designed for a girl. I fell in love with the picture, but I wanted to embroider it for a boy. I replaced the pink pajamas with blue (DMC colors 798, 799, 800) and the cuffs and bib are trimmed in light green (#955). The tail bow is blue, the heart is blue, etc. Instead of the pink spots on the giraffe, I used tan/gold. I used the same colors for the mane and tail. I replaced flowers with toys using patterns from Pinterest. I'm attaching a photo, although it's not quite finished yet. I'm happy with how it looks and I know the new mom will love it. I used some of the yarns included in the kit (light blue eyeshadow, yellow blanket and peachy/pink tones on the giraffe's face, arms and ears. There was enough yarn in the kit for those areas, so I think the other colors would suffice if you want to make it for a girl.Overall I'm very happy with the kit and everyone who saw it loved it.My only wish was that the fabric was a bit bigger to allow for more design options - it fits not in a standard 11x14 frame.
