Review on ๐Ÿšด Oumers Bike Crank Extractor and Bottom Bracket Remover: 16mm Spanner Wrench + Crank Puller Tool Kit by Johnny Black

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Did the job on my Mongoose Malus; Take the time to prepare your tools first

Crank puller and bottom bracket puller did not work as advertised. The wrench that comes with the kit is pretty cheap and not very good. Instead, I recommend using a 15mm wrench. Make sure you clean and lubricate the threads on the crank puller before use and take your time to ensure the threads do not cross. I took the crank off a fairly new bike and it was still a bear. I had to use a 24" breaker to finally disconnect the cranks from the spindle. So don't be afraid to use force on it as it may require it. At the same time, first clean and lubricate the threads of the puller and the connecting rods themselves. The bottom bracket tool fits my 20 spline closed bottom bracket perfectly. A longer-handled 1/2" socket also comes in handy.
