I guess I have about 50 bits, but more than half of what I paid for it came from just two of these bits. Both were whiteside beats. The other was 7/8" flush with bearings on both ends which was a pleasure to use. This is the second 1/2" spiral nozzle. Another cracked when a Porter Cable-style brass bushing came loose and jammed. a little in the thorn he cut. These carbide bits will definitely break if placed in such situations. But they make up for it by cutting _way_ cleaner than regular straight flute bits. As I said above, they are a joy to use. Just don't drop them on the concrete floor.
