You get what you pay for

I guess I have about 50 bits, but more than half of what I paid for it came from just two of these bits. Both were whiteside beats. The other was 7/8" flush with bearings on both ends which was a pleasure to use. This is the second 1/2" spiral nozzle. Another cracked when a Porter Cable-style brass bushing came loose and jammed. a little in the thorn he cut. These carbide bits will definitely break if placed in such situations. But they make up for it by cutting _way_ cleaner than regular…

Sharp, precise and smooth

From what I could measure with a digital caliper, the diameter was as close as possible to .500 inches as advertised. Cuts in veneered plywood are clean, with no chips both across and along the grain. The bottom of the incision was flat and smooth. Beat exceeded my expectations and needs in every way.
