Review on 🌬️ AC Infinity MULTIFAN S3, Quiet 120mm USB Fan for UL-Certified Cooling of Receivers, DVRs, Playstations, Xbox Consoles, and Computer Cabinets by Chris Vargas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Helps cool my 60 " plasma TV and is virtually silent.

I have a large plasma television that fits in a home theater cabinet and the television generates a lot of heat. So much so that the television recently died. After being on for almost 24 hours. I disassembled the TV and replaced the burned capacitor which fixed the TV but didn't solve the overheating problem. So I searched and bought this fan (120mm version) and hung it over the top vents on the back of the TV. The problem is solved! The fan uses one of the free USB ports on my TV for power. USB connector so you don't lose the functionality of the USB port you plugged the fan into - you can plug another fan or USB device into the USB port. Since it is powered by the TV's USB port, the fan will cycle on and off along with the TV turning on. Three level bonus switch. The fan is very quiet at all speeds. I don't suck hot air from the top of the TV and direct it to the back of the case and am very happy with my purchase. The only other features that might seem a bit attractive would be a temperature-controlled speed setting and fan LED lighting (but these are only good if you're mounting the fan on hardware where it's visible). Remember that a large fan can move more air and still be quiet. Smaller fans must run at higher speeds and make more noise to move the same amount of air that a larger fan running at a quieter, slower speed can move.
