Review on 🔪 Optimized Freud 10-inch x 24T Heavy-Duty Rip Blade (LM72R010) by Chris Horton

I really wanted to like this blade but can't give it more than 3 stars. I had a lot of very well seasoned hard maple to rip. I first tried it on my Bosch 4100. I figured the problems I was having were because the motor was too small for a full cut. And while that was probably one of the factors, when I put it on an old Unisaw - 220v, 3hp, other problems remained. The results I got from the Bosch were twofold - sticking, a tendency for the workpiece to rise off the table, rough cut edges, and more than expected play during the cut. Classifying this blade for rough cutting, I rely on Freud's thin kerf with glue to cut glass smoothly.
