This is not my first watercolor set that I have collected to compare different brands. If you're trying to start something and are completely broke, this will work just fine, BUT be warned: the colors just won't stick. I say let it dry for a full day, go back to the layer and your colors will fall no matter how they stick. They should not be used if you plan to glaze or layer, which is a common watercolor technique. They also have decent color strength, mix fairly well but can be a bit clumpy at times. The colors they mix are vibrant. All in all a good deal for your money. They work. I would consider these for a child or someone who can't afford anything better. Otherwise, the startup problem will make it frustrating to use.
