Review on Dorman 38448 Door Striker Bolt by Tremain Lapan

So I have this 30 year old F-250 that had "rattling" doors. I went to YT and found some hacks. NONE WORKS. I tried adjusting the cleats inward. The door was either forced open or you had to slam the door. It's HARD to close. In the end I broke down and bought this replacement bolt. yes, it worked great. I adjusted a bit to properly close the shutter, but I'm no longer afraid of breaking the window from slamming it so hard. Now pull slightly and the door will close and latch properly. The first one worked so well on the driver's side that I bought another one to fix the passenger side!
