Review on Pro Armor A114220SV 4 Point Harness by Michael Hemmig

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The first impression is pretty good. Let's see how well it holds up.

The crockery has a very good processing quality. The tape is dense, the seams are strong. Good padding on shoulders, buckle snaps in well (time will tell how well it holds up). No H/W mount is included, but I should be able to reuse H/W from old straps. If for some reason this doesn't work, you will need to collect the H/W from your local H/W shop. Customization and fit seem pretty good but as mentioned they aren't installed yet so check for updates after I install them. The light is cheap but seems to work well. However, I expect to use the bag for other things. The phone case will not fit larger phones like iPhone 6S Plus or 5 inch big screen phones if they have a case. Without the case, you can "might" squeeze it in, but it fits snugly. Most likely, it works well for iPod or other music players. The padding on the shoulders is thick and should do the job just fine. The 2-inch width seems adequate for casual trail runs or regular off-road casual trips. I am installing this on a Yamaha YXZ1000r SxS and expect it to work fine. If you want you can easily add an extra belt, no problem. The YXZ has a shoulder harness bar, it's a bit high and will work fine, but adding a lower bar gives a better fit. As mentioned, I'll update this review after I've fully installed it. in the YXZ. All in all, it looks like pretty good suspension. Update: Installed over the weekend. Installed them on my Yamaha YXZ 1000r SS SE. Installation was easy and straightforward. First, the lap belt attachment points were not bolted directly to the frame. I had to modify the frame mounts a bit to make them fit. Not bad, but I'd say it was a problem on Yamaha's part, not counting the installation of aftermarket belts, as I think most seat belts have similar adjustments. . The leash is too short and the padding sits too high on the shoulders. The leash is too long and they sit too far on the chest, but that goes for any leash, so this isn't a Pro Armor issue. The straps are held tight once installed, so they should work well to protect both the driver and passenger. Unboxing and installation videos can be found on my YouTube channel. JayTaylorOnYouTube
