Review on Cake Server by STERILITE, White, 1 pack by Badpuppy Warton

I bought this primarily as a Mealthy CrispLid case but if I ever need to carry a cake I'm ready! I've added some photos to illustrate the inside dimensions of the cake box. (EDIT: In the captions, I'm referring to the silicone mat provided by Mealthy as the "stand". Apologies if this is confusing, but repeating the captions is too difficult. Anyway, I'm not talking about the length of the stand here stainless steel with legs (also fitted with CrispLid lid.) Tape measure, adjusted to a total length of 5 1/2 inches and placed on the outside edge of the lower pan, moves approximately 1 inch towards the center when the lid is open and is applied . Above. Set it at 5 3/4" and place it in the center of the tray so the tape measure isn't touching the lid. Set at 5 7/8", it touches the inside of the lid. Mealthy CrispLid weighs 3.5 lbs. An 8" diameter by about 4 1/2" high whole food carrot cake (which I happened to have access to) weighed 5.5 lbs. Lifting the box with the CrispLid lid inside causes an easy There's some sag in the center of the bottom pan between the two brackets, but not as much as a 5.5-pound cake. an average adult's hand will not easily pass through because it encourages people using the cake box to support the bottom of the cake box with their other hand. I'm very happy with the strength, but there would be a lot more confidence if there were four clamps instead. of two. I'm giving it five stars based on how happy I am with it as a custom CrispLid case. YMMV.
