This is advertised as a "hard" case but it uses EVA plastic, which is a kind of plastic that has the defining characteristic of being flexible. Baffling.It's very easy to hold this case in one hand and squeeze the side panels together. Meaning that this case offers essentially no "crush" protection for your device. If you put your device in some luggage and something heavy ends up resting on top of it, good luck.Another annoyance is that the case is supposed to fit 0.8 inches internally, and my MacBook is only 0.6 inches thick, so it should be able to slide around freely inside the case, but it doesn't. So the case is always applying a small amount of pressure to the laptop. It's probably not a big deal, but it seems ironic that I bought the case to protect the laptop from pressure against it, and the case itself is applying pressure.I'd like to return this case but all the alternatives look pretty similar, so this might be the best I can do.
