Review on ⚡️ Enhanced m-LVD Low Voltage Disconnect by Blue Sea Systems by Jon Estell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well. Well done.

I installed this in a car that has a 1 amp drain somewhere. Was idle for a few days and the battery would have been too weak to run it. It's the next best thing to finding and repairing a leak. Because it's automatic, you can't forget to disconnect the battery and stay put. The hardest part to install was the switch. The switch is well designed and made, has multiple functions and is well labeled. However, this requires a rectangular hole of a certain size. Plan to run three wires from the relay to the switch and a ground wire to the switch. When testing the switch functions, it is important to remember that the manual cut-off only disconnects the battery at low voltage. The system has a configurable cut-off voltage and a voltage range just above where it will warn you of undervoltage. You can only disable manually in this area. Actually, it's a security feature. You don't want to accidentally trip while the alternator is charging as that could burn out the diodes. I'm glad I chose Blue Seas.
