Switch Program Block

Works as expected. The wiring is not too complicated. I hooked this up to a 12 volt fridge that stays on all the time. The switch is worth the extra effort to program at what voltage the switch will turn your accessory off.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Updates available

Works as advertised, prevents your batteries from over-discharging

Works as advertised. I bought this to protect batteries in a small solar energy project. It looks like a good quality product. The disable/disable switch is not physically connected to the main unit, so it can be adjusted remotely.

Pros
  • Works just fine
Cons
  • Not everything fits

DOA arrived? - Boating and Sailing

Failed to start. While I had 12.9 volts on the m-LVD battery side, it was 0 on the load side. Thinking I might need a remote control to change the settings, I hooked up a remote switch to no avail. I've emailed Blue Sea asking for tech support, but I'm not impressed at the moment.

  • Impressive

Works as described - watch video

Works as described. The voltage settings appear to be correct. By setting 12.1 V with the lamps and compressors on, the low-voltage stage turned on and after 5 minutes disconnected all circuits connected to it. The battery voltage was 11.9-12.0V after 5 minutes, so it obviously did its job well! It's a neat little device. Hope it keeps working!

  • Great for a small home

works as indicated. The wiring for the supplied remote control is a bit complicated and must be used to get the full functionality of the device, such as: B. a gong (not included). Looks good as expected from Blue Sea. Installed on a motor yacht over a year ago to protect the battery at home if the AC shore charger somehow disconnected while the DC cooling is running. Well proven.

Essential for my truck

Great addition to my 2004 Ram. I have many accessories that are powered directly from the battery. Eliminate them by wiring them all together with the Bluesea m-LVD to the 12 fuse box. The remote control must be connected to take full advantage. With the remote control you can check the current charge of the battery and observe in the car whether the battery voltage has dropped to 12 V or close to 11 V, regardless of the settings. It doesn't work without a remote control. You can also connect a

Works perfectly. - Battery Switch

I use it on my trailer to protect the engine batteries from deep discharge. It sits as a battery insulator between the engine batteries and RV batteries. However, you can load or use both banks with the engine off. If I overcharge the batteries it turns off until I start the truck. Only gets about 40 amps since it is connected to a small battery charging circuit. I've had it for several months with no problems. I haven't wired the switch yet, but I plan to do so later. Well made compared to…

Works well. Well done.

I installed this in a car that has a 1 amp drain somewhere. Was idle for a few days and the battery would have been too weak to run it. It's the next best thing to finding and repairing a leak. Because it's automatic, you can't forget to disconnect the battery and stay put. The hardest part to install was the switch. The switch is well designed and made, has multiple functions and is well labeled. However, this requires a rectangular hole of a certain size. Plan to run three wires from the…
