Review on 47861 Powermaster Alternator by Amrozi Goodall

If you have some electrical attachments this will work great! I added fog lights and a sound system and with the stock alternator idling it lowered the battery voltage. But with this higher effort alternator from Powermasters my voltage stays above 14. The alternator needs readjustment if you have tall valve covers or if you have a rear mounting plate that connects to the exhaust manifold (5.7 engine). I didn't have either so I didn't have to change anything, it was just screw and bolt! I recommend you do the Big Three update.
