I love disposable kitchen gadgets, all kitchen gadgets in general, but I have a lot of disposable items. However, this is not a disposable gadget, but rather a kitchen multi-tool. I have a large hand as you can see in the picture and I found the grip to be quite comfortable. It was neither too big nor too small and I suspect it fits perfectly in all but the smallest of hands. After washing, I first used it the day it arrived to grate the zest and squeeze the juice of an orange for my orange chicken. Recipe. The zester comes in and out of the dilator with a very nice "pop" and a comfortable fit. Time will tell if it holds up, but I must have done it at least a dozen times and each time felt like the first time. I used a navel orange, so this time I pitted it) worked quite well. There was quite a bit of pulp, however, and some of it ran out the sides. It wasn't a problem for me and what's worse you can always use it in place of another container or strainer to make sure you catch it all if that was a problem. Lots of good stuff in my kitchen! First impressions are that it will last, but if that changes I will definitely come back and update my review.
