Review on Next Danco HYR271T Hydroright Handle by Alex Barr

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Don't like the button? Upgrade to it! New to Dual Flush? Get that, not 270.

First I installed the HYR270 (green wire, split button flush) and also replaced the fill valve. Installation was easy, in fact, setting the water level took longer than actually installing the device. We've been trying to work with the button for a few weeks but found it difficult to press and also hides behind the toilet lid making it difficult to operate. I bought a BlueSource HYR270 HydroRight dual flush plug-in from MJSI in 2010 but wasn't sure if it would fit and was only able to install it last month when the flush valve in the toilet broke and I needed to make repairs. definitely. I pulled the trigger and switched to this model. The split knob is MUCH easier to use than the split knob, and it's no longer hidden behind a cover. Another great thing is that the 270 and 271 use the same bottom, so I didn't have to reinstall the entire unit, just the top and handle. While the full reset works great, we're still setting up the half reset (I think I need to lower the blue float a little more, that's it). No leaks and a much better overall experience with a very cool dual flush system.

Cons
