This mounting kit is fine. This works much better with a smaller person. I'm 6ft 2in and can only use it by hanging my gun and mag pouch much lower. This allows you to print more. The pistol and magazine pouches should fit snugly under the armpit and not dangle. I've been using the Galco Classic Lite for a Kahr pistol for a number of years and recently bought a Miami Classic for an M&P9c. I've tried holsters with and without a drawstring. I didn't want to spend the money but I ended up removing the zip ties and tossing them in a drawer. If you are small, these things will probably suit you. If you like your gun hanging low, they will. However, if you're wearing a shoulder holster with a pistol held tightly to your armpit (and there's a limit to how high you can carry it), this won't work for you if you're 6ft 2in tall. An exception may be if you are old and pull your pants up to your nipples. Then you will love these tie sets.
