Read the manual, choose the right tool

Leakage problem, no washer, no rubber boots. I don't even know if the sensor works or not. The Pep Boys guy told me they lost the software tools. But before that I need a leak free sensor. I have a picture showing the original sensor nuts have a washer and rubber on the outside. The left side is original and the right side is new. I've tried over tightening the nuts but they still leak. #updateproblem solved. The seasonal reason the guy worked on the cheer boys wasn't to read the manual. The TPMS sensor has a washer and the washer must be installed on the outside of the rim. It is built into the rim and forms a plug between the rubber sealing ring and the rim. After reinstalling TPMS, there is no leak anymore. Another problem is that the teenagers didn't tell me they lost the TPMS software tool. My car had no communication with the sensor. So I went to Costco Tire Center and their tool cannot detect Autel TPMS. I tried using the VCD to get my 2012 Volkswagen CC to relearn the TPMS system but that didn't work. And driving 100 miles doesn't help relearn TPMS. I ended up having to buy a MaxiTPMS-PAD to copy the old sensor's ID to the new one. Now the sensor is working properly.
