Review on Keyless Entry Door Lock with Keypad, Handle, and Fingerprint Recognition for Home Hotel Office Apartment Bedroom - Black (Model F190) by Paulo Heisler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy assembly, easy programming

I was looking for a new lock for my front door because when we weren't at home, uninvited guests came to us. This is a family member who has a habit of eating our food. We usually don't lock the door because we can't find the key lol. I was a little nervous trying to assemble the handle, I was afraid I would break it or something lol. I have previously installed another combination lock and it was a hassle. I was relieved when I opened the product and read the instructions. It was so easy I thought I did something wrong lol. Here's my breakdown. Product/Style: 5/5 Really nice and stylish! I like touch numbers. I like that I can charge the doorknob when it dies. The batteries are AAA, but if they run out before you change them you can charge them very quickly so you don't get locked out. One thing I would probably change is the direction of the numbers? It goes through the handle instead of pointing up. But NBD. Installation: 5/5 EASY! Just like a regular door knob, inserting the lock into the door and then attaching each side to the lock. To connect the batteries, all you need is a wire from the outside handle to the inside handle. Add batteries (included) and BOOM! You are in business. Code/Fingerprint Setup: 5/5 I like that the first 3 fingerprints are "Administrators" because I'm not home at the same time as my family members. So the fact that other family members can add everyone is great. It requires a 6 digit code and we have kids so having a fingerprint option is much more convenient. Other doors require a master code to reset everything, but this allows you to be the "master". Also, it remains locked. It opens for 5 seconds and then locks immediately. Overall, I highly recommend this door knob. I'll buy a second one for the back door.
