This review is for a 6x6 steamboat. Having received hundreds of cheap Chinese junk over the past 8 years, I have only received a few that I rate as "really good" in terms of materials and construction. This steam generator is one of them. Thick, durable, unbreakable plastic body, baskets and lids. Enough flexibility. Reliable and tight valve for steam escape on the lid. The 4 flip-lock fasteners are thick and provide a secure seal when closed. This steamer is designed for 1 or 2 people. If you need more, look elsewhere. I've been using this steamer for frozen veggies for the last week and am very happy with its performance. I do not and will not put it in the dishwasher; I washed by hand. Why only 4 stars? To show that I have not been paid or bribed for my review. I would really give 5 stars.
