Admittedly, even at my height, my pipes are a bit tight, but I am. I probably should have considered the width of the tubes a bit more. But cozy doesn't mean "doesn't fit". it slid onto the pipes and I am sure that if there are as many cold days this winter as there were last winter, they will be protected from freezing. The Velcro on the bottom is strong and you can also attach the lid if you find it necessary. It's thick and well insulated, and the cream/tan tint looks clean, not too bright and doesn't stand out in color, which is what I wanted.
