My daughter enjoyed the "learn to sew" until she made 8 or 9 stitches and found her thumb holding the plastic was covered in blue paint . She tried a few more stitches, but the paint kept peeling off. She became uncomfortable and lost interest. I tried doing a few stitches and encountered the same problem. In those few minutes of work, so much of the drawing came off that she couldn't finish it where it touched. I figured I would only end up about an inch or so all the way down on the left side so she can hold on to the yarn and not the paint. I think it will work for her but when I was done my shirt was covered in small patches of paint. That's a good idea,
