Buy Once, Buy For Life

This is a Starret tool. Any mechanic will tell you that Starrett makes some of the finest precision gauges money can buy. They're not cheap, but with proper care, they'll last well over a year. I have many Starrett tools that are over 70 years old (inherited from my father who inherited them from his father) and still work. This tool has the same look, feel and quality as the tools I inherited and used when I was a locksmith in the 80's and 90's when they needed to be calibrated to high standards of precision. This square matched my precision mechanic's 6" square perfectly and I expect it will stay that way for as long as I have it.

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Performance
Cons
  • Reliability
